Download Bootable CDRom (.iso file). A 12 MB .ISO file that you can use to burn a bootable installation CD.

1. Download and burn the .ISO image to a CDrom.
2. If using a floppy install run the downloaded program (BizFloppies.exe version 3.6 and lower) which will build TWO BizGuardian Install Disks. (Note: These disks contain UNIX file system and are not readable on a Windows PC once created).
3. Boot either floppy Disk 1 or the CDRom on the computer which will become the dedicated firewall PC.
4. Once the floppy or CDrom installation as completed, the balance of the software (10MB) will be downloaded from the Web. This takes just a couple of minutes on a cable or ADSL modem. The install procedure will check both network cards to determine which one is connected to the internet. Once configured it will always use the card it detected at setup time that was connected to the internet as the external card.
5. When the install completes use a Windows PC that is connected to the internal network. It must be set to Obtain IP address Automatically under network properties TCP/IP Settings. This PC will receive an IP address from the firewall in the range of 10.10.10.2-254
6. From this PC you should already be able to surf the Web. You can also connect to the BizGuardian Administrator pages using Internet Explorer by using the address http://10.10.10.1 and make any required changes to the default network configuration.
